  Only one specific datum point can be acquired at a time with the conventional UV-Vis Spectrophotometer since it only has one detector. But data for full wavelengths can be acquired with S-4100 simultaneously since it has multi-channel detector with1024 photodiode arrays.
• Fast Scan Speed
  Fast spectral acquisition makes S-4100 the first choice for measurement of fast chemical reactions and denaturating materials. You can observe the process of the fast reactions for full wavelength range, easily and conveniently.
• High Signal to Noise Ratio
  Using Integration function which can not be performed in the conventional UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, S-4100 can accumulate the signal. As a result, we can improve S/N ratio.
• Excellent Wavelength Reproducibility
  S-4100 PDA UV-Vis Spectrophotometer collects data at each wavelength by electrical scanning without any moving parts. In this way, the wavelength reproducibility of a S-4100 PDA UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is much better than the conventional UV-Vis Spectrophotometer which adapts mechanical scanning.

• Ruggedness of PDA
  A Diffraction Grating for S-4100 PDA UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is fixed differently from the conventional UV-Vis. Therefore alignment for the optical component is simplified. As a result, we could minimize the possibility of mechanical errors and A/S & maintenance are very effective.
